“Vanessa is such a kind and lovely person to work with! She has such a nice holistic approach to fitness, nutrition and mindset. I’m healthier and happier now than before I started. She never makes you feel judged or guilty for things that diet culture has taught us to be guilty for ie having a meal at a restaurant or eating a candy bar. For example the first couple of weeks I would send my check in form saying things like “improve on nutrition” because I’d eaten a chocolate bar but Vanessa would always respond saying that all my meals were good and she didn’t see a problem with my weekly food intake and it made me realise that actually, as part of a balanced lifestyle these ‘bad foods’ were actually fine, as long as you’re not binging on em. I feel in the last 3 months this shift in mindset has been the biggest thing for me and it’s made me happier. In addition, the workouts are super fun and allows you to try loads of exercises you may have never done or even thought of. She pushes you but not to the point where you’re gonna be K.O for 3 days before doing anything again.
