“Having previously worked with a different trainer, I thought I’d have to revert back to the restricted meal plan that I had to follow in order to see results the last time I lost weight which was really unenjoyable. I also thought I’d never have the confidence to workout on my own without having a PT by my side.

As I was looking to change my lifestyle and not wanting some sort of drastic weight loss, Vanessa put my mind at ease and allowed me to plan my own meals (with guidance and ideas) within my calorie and macro goals. She also made it clear that the point of doing the 3 month plan was to give me confidence to carry this on on my own and not have to rely on someone else forever – ‘The last weight loss product I’d ever buy!’

My favourite thing about working with Vanessa was that I could be myself and never felt the need to lie about what I ate etc. as I knew it was a judgement free zone. From the first time I said guilty about eating something, Vanessa put in place things I should do and follow so I would stop feeling that way. I’ve not felt that guilt in a long time and I’m able to fully enjoy treats! Then encouraging words from the checks in and while in sessions really boosted my self confidence too.

Working with Vanessa made me realise I’m much stronger than I thought I was – knowing this has made me be able to push myself when doing solo workouts.
